Welcome to Stockade Fortification, a new feature on our DayZ server — DEER ISLE ORIGINAL by John McLane. This system expands vanilla base building with a focus on strength, scale, and style.

What is Stockade Fortification?

Stockade Fortification introduces advanced construction elements to vanilla DayZ, allowing players to build massive, secure, and beautiful bases. Forget flimsy walls and tiny gates — it's time to go big.

Key features

Tall Log Walls: Reinforced vertical log walls, perfect for multi-level defenses.

Code Lock Support: Our massive log gates are fully compatible with code locks — lock up your stronghold with confidence.

Three-Story Structures: Build up to 3 floors high, with full walkability and window slots.

Window Modules: Shoot from your base. Defend with visibility.

Defend your base from other players and zombies using guard system with Sharpened stakes.

Banners & Camouflage: Mask your Stockade with camouflage netting — or hang a banner to show your country, your squad, or your own symbol. Now you can.

Nighttime Lighting: Even after dark, you can light up your base using vanilla gas lamps — functional, atmospheric, and immersive.

How to build

Use a standard kit (two sticks and rope) to craft a Stockade Kit. While holding it in your hands, hold F to switch to a Stockade Corner Kit before placing

Use unique graphical placement markers to choose exactly where your Stockade wall and Stockade gates will stand.

While building a second wall, press F to activate an intellectual snapping system that lets you align one wall perfectly next to another.
